These are some of the most common enquiries we receive during the Exhibition announcement.  Here are the answers to be at everyone’s disposal.

1. How many artworks can I submit?

   There is no limit, but only one work per author can be selected to be exhibited.

2. Which are the measurements required for the artwork?

   The maximum size will be 297 x 420 mm (A3)

3. Is the deadline for the reception the date of the postmark or the date of the reception?

    The valid date is the one of the postmark of the postal services. 

4. How can I prove that the computer creation is the only technique I usually employ?

   By sending several examples of the publications in which you usually publish (Of various dates).

5. Can the artworks be sent by e-mail?

   We will not exhibit any artwork sent by e-mail. The works that contain computer technique must be printed out and signed by the author, and must indicate the copy number and the total amount of copies.

6. When shall I know the results of the selection for the Exhibition?

   The date planned is in the beginning of September.

7. Which selection criterion shall be followed?

   The jury has full authority of decision. The organization doesn’t intervene in the matter.

8. If I attend to the Exhibition activities,  which expenses does the organization cover?

   It depends on whether your artwork has been selected or not. For the authors whose work has been selected, more expenses will be covered by the organization. Anyhow, this matter depends on the organization of this year. In this edition the attendance conditions will be published in September.

9. How can I arrive to  Alcalá de Henares?

   Alcalá has a train station in the commuter train network of the Spanish Railways, Renfe. The stop is called Alcalá de Henares. You can also take a bus from Madrid in the bus station of Avenida de América, and if you come to Alcalá from Guadalajara you can take a bus in the bus station of Guadalajara (Estación de autobuses). From the airport you can whether take a subway to Madrid and continue to Alcalá by train or by bus, or take a taxi directly from the airport to Alcalá (Km 33 of the Nacional II. (A-2)

10. Is there some kind of a prize for the submitted artworks?

    No, There are no prizes associated with the Exhibition. It is a non competitive event.
